Bardiglio Carrara marble

The grey marble of Carrara: uniform blue-grey ground (Imperiale) or clouded with darker veins (Nuvolato). Elegant and sober, perfect alongside the Apuan whites.

Geology and technical data

Fine-grained marble with grey pigmentation due to finely dispersed pyrite and organic matter; Colonnata and Fantiscritti basins. Density 2,710 kg/m³, absorption 0.1-0.2%.

Uses

Interior floors, cladding, stairs, bathrooms, honed kitchen tops, skirtings and thresholds; excellent with Bianco Carrara and Statuario.

Selections and formats

Imperiale (uniform) and Nuvolato (veined); 2 and 3 cm slabs polished, honed or brushed, tiles.

Marble band: indicative 80-170 €/m², excl. VAT, ex works Carrara.
