Azulália is a distinguished granite from Portugal, prized for its deep black base and subtle grey undertones. This medium-grained stone features a consistent, dense structure with faint foliation, offering a sophisticated, uniform appearance ideal for modern architectural projects. Its robust nature makes it suitable for high-traffic flooring, countertops, and exterior cladding. Common finishes include polished for a mirror-like sheen or honed for a matte, tactile surface. Marmi di Carrara supplies Azulália in large blocks, standard slabs of 2 or 3 cm, and custom cut-to-size pieces. We provide detailed photos of actual slabs to ensure transparency before purchase, allowing you to verify the specific grain and colour variations of this Portuguese granite.
