Ghiandone Limbara is a premium quartzite sourced from the mountainous regions of Sardinia in Italy. Distinguished by its dominant white colour and compact, granular texture, this stone often displays subtle grey or beige variations that enhance its natural elegance without heavy veining. As a durable quartzite, it offers superior resistance to heat and scratching compared to marble, making it an ideal choice for high-traffic kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, and exterior cladding. The material accepts a variety of finishes, including polished, honed, and brushed surfaces, to suit different design aesthetics. Marmi di Carrara supplies Ghiandone Limbara directly from our facility in Carrara, offering fully exported blocks, precision-cut slabs in 2 cm and 3 cm thicknesses, and custom cut-to-size options. We provide high-resolution photos of the actual slabs before purchase to ensure transparency and accuracy for architects and designers.
