Herschenberg is a premium granite originating from Austria, widely recognized in the construction industry for its reliability and aesthetic appeal. This stone presents a distinctive grey background, often with subtle variations in tone that highlight its natural granitic grain. While primarily known as Herschenberg, it is also traded under the names Eibenstein, Gmünder Granit, and Gross-eibenstein, reflecting its diverse regional sources. Its robust composition makes it ideal for high-traffic flooring, cladding, and monumental works. The surface can be finished in flamed, honed, or polished textures to suit modern or classical designs. Marmi di Carrara supplies this Austrian granite as rough blocks, precision-cut slabs in 2 cm or 3 cm thicknesses, and custom cut-to-size pieces. We provide high-resolution photos of actual slabs available for purchase, ensuring total transparency before your order.
