Lioz Chainet is a Portuguese limestone from the Lioz family, quarried in Portugal and prized for its unusual violet and purple background. Purplish microcrystalline texture with pale yellowish spots, abundant fossils and delicate stylolites give each slab a distinctive, decorative character. The stone is used for interior flooring, wall cladding, bathrooms, feature walls and refined architectural details, where its warm purple tones create elegant contrasts. Lioz Chainet is a Limestone quarried in Portugal, catalogued in the Marmi di Carrara atlas under the international reference ICPTLS00302. Its dominant tone is violet & purple, with a fossiliferous / bioclastic / crystalline texture.
Like every limestone, it is supplied as raw blocks, gangsaw slabs in 2 and 3 cm and cut-to-size pieces made in our Carrara plants. Recommended finishes: honed, brushed, sandblasted, bush-hammered, split-face. Typical applications: interior and exterior floors, façades, pool surrounds, garden design, carved elements.
