Northern Tan is a natural limestone quarried in the United States, characterized by a warm light brown base colour accented by subtle pink tones. The stone displays a fine to medium grain with a uniform texture, making it well suited for both indoor and outdoor applications. Its consistent colour and gentle veining allow it to be used for flagstone, paving, walkways, and patio surfaces, where a natural, earthy aesthetic is desired. Recommended finishes include honed, brushed, or split-face to enhance slip resistance and visual depth. Marmi di Carrari supplies Northern Tan in blocks and slabs of 2–3 cm thickness, offering cut‑to‑size service and real‑time photos of actual slabs before purchase, ensuring precise selection for architects and designers.
