Azul Guerra is a grey marble from Portugal, also known in the trade as Ruivina Claro. It shows a uniform grey background with a fine, medium-to-fine grain and subtle tonal veining that gives interiors a sober, elegant character. Typical uses include flooring, wall cladding, staircases, bathrooms and kitchen tops, where a calm grey stone is required. It takes well to polished and honed finishes, while brushed or sandblasted surfaces suit outdoor paving and feature walls. Marmi di Carrara supplies Azul Guerra marble as blocks, slabs 2 and 3 cm thick and cut-to-size pieces, and sends photos of the actual slabs before purchase so buyers can select the exact material.
