Overview

Perlino Bianco is an ivory-white stone from the Veneto, compact and uniform, with a bright look. A classic for floors, stairs and cladding.

History and origin

It is a compact limestone from the Veneto, part of the family of "perlati" and "perlini" from Verona and Vicenza, used for centuries in high-quality construction. There is also a Perlino Rosato variety. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.

Appearance

An ivory-white background with slight spots and fine veins, a uniform look. Polished it has pearly reflections; honed it is soft and natural.

Uses

Floors, stairs, thresholds, window sills, indoor and outdoor cladding, bathrooms. Excellent for large light surfaces.

Care and maintenance

Neutral detergents and water for routine cleaning; no acids or aggressive de-icing salts. Outdoors a water-repellent limits dirt, moss and absorption; indoors a stain-proof sealer protects tops and floors. The surface can be re-honed over time.
