Incarnat Turquin, also traded as Rouge Turquin, is a French marble prized for its light grey background enlivened by orange-red veining and accents. Quarried in France, this stone has long been used in classical and contemporary architecture for flooring, wall cladding, bathrooms, staircases and decorative inserts, where its warm red markings contrast elegantly with the cool grey ground. The veining varies from block to block, giving each lot a distinctive character. Polished and honed finishes are the most common, while brushed or leathered surfaces suit more tactile designs. Marmi di Carrara supplies Incarnat Turquin as blocks, slabs in 2 and 3 cm, and cut-to-size pieces, with photos of the actual slabs before purchase.
