Usak Green Marble, also known as Usak Yesil Mermer or Verde Laguna, is a Turkish marble prized for its vivid green background and subtle veining of lighter minerals. The stone displays a medium to coarse grain with occasional specks of biotite and epidote that add depth to its appearance. It is suitable for both polished and honed finishes, making it ideal for flooring, wall cladding, countertops and decorative elements in residential and commercial projects. Marmi di Carrara supplies Usak Green Marble in 2‑3 cm thick blocks and slabs, offers cut‑to‑size services, and provides real slab photographs before purchase.
Petrographic description
The marble occurs as lens-shaped bodies within Paleozoic metamorphic massifs; its crystals range from 100 to 1000 µm and include pressure‑related twin calcite crystals, with minor biotite, epidote, quartz and plagioclase micro‑crystals.
